Ms. Diann has served as SBMA’s Head of School since 2013, guiding our community with warmth, vision, and dedication. Her connection to SBMA began nearly a decade earlier as a parent—both her children are proud alumni and credit this program for their life-long love of learning. Inspired by their experience, Ms. Diann and her husband gave back in many ways, including through years of volunteer service and board leadership. Originally from India, Ms. Diann immigrated to the U.S. as a child, growing up here in Kensington and attending nearby Rock View ES, Sligo MS and Einstein HS. She holds a bachelor's in Business Administration from the University of Maryland, as well as a master's in Distance Education Administration. Ms. Diann is known for her tireless commitment to SBMA and rarely misses a day at school.

When she isn't at school, she enjoys spending time with loved ones, interior decorating, and doting on her dog. “It is a great honor and privilege to lead our school. We took what was once a hidden gem and made it one of the most sought-after preschool programs in our area.”
